When a child builds his own drums using pots and pans and plays them almost every day, it’s a sure sign that music is the right path to set him on.
Making music for the Demo Scene using Trackers where his first encounter with nowadays "vintage computers" providing him with all the sounds he needed to form his ideas into music.

Multifaceted engineer David Paulicke is a M.A graduate of HFM Franz Liszt Conservatory in prof. drumming and composition and began his professional music career in 1998 in Germany's music metropol Hamburg as a staff producer in one of the biggest studios.
Also working as a freelance producer and studio/live drummer over the years gained him national and international acclaim as a versatile and skilled musician, composer, programmer and sound designer.

Soon he co-founded BEATSUCHT producer team, generating multiple releases and chart-hits (amongst them AZAD feat. Cassandra Steen - "Eines Tages" on MTV Germany Charts #1 for eight weeks).
Winning awards in 2006/07 with BEATSUCHT (now Suprememusic) on the advertising field (e.g. twice gold at the New York Festival, multiple ADC awards) lead him to finally found his own production company TRIGONOMICS in 2008. Since then his work went to the tops of the international charts, earning multiple platinum awards worldwide not only as a producer, but also as a mix engineer.

In addition, his first production as a solo artist "MONTE" took off in 2012 with his track "True", a tune which triumphantly took the top spot #1 in the Beatport Deep House Charts. Numerous top 10 releases lead him to DJ bookings all over the world. He matured as an artist as well as his sound so that he quickly became an inherent part of the electronic music scene.

In 2022 he received a grammy certificate for mixing Purple Disco Machines Grammy award winning Lizzo Remix "It's About Damn Time.
With TRIGONOMICS, David applies many years of experience in mix engineering to provide custom solutions for demanding customers around the globe of any genre for the music industry.
